DAS
Deaway Active Suspension
What is DAS?
A Unique technology features: suspension arm with integrated shock absorber and in-hub motor.
Main components
* In Hub motor: rotates the wheel
* Deaway's special designed Active Shock absorber
* Control box with proprietary software
How it works?
* Proprietary software controls DAS, it moves suspension arm up & down, commands operation of In-Hub motor when: - * Traction is bad
- *Truck takes off from standing, using a proprietary accumulating system that saves fuel and reduce Emissions by regenerative braking
- * Retarder / engine brake is activated
- * By Pre-defined setting by user or by factory
Benefits
Configurable
* DAS designed to fit various types of trucks and trailers - * The solution can be tailored to specific truck or manufacturer
- Saves Fuel and Emissions
- * Hybrid-Hydraulic systems can potentially reduce 30% of Fuel consumption and 25% of greenhouse gas emissions
Comfort
* Two independent arms provides comfort ride for driver and cargo, rather than one rigid axle
Getting the job done
* DAS provides traction in loosed surface such as snow and mud
Ease of integration
* DAS designed to be installed wherever the chassis design allows, this big advantage for body builders and owners, providing flexibility in weight distribution and cargo loading - * Open source software for suspension & wheel control allows truck's manufactures to integrate DAS to work together with truck's systems such as Retarder, ABS, traction control, stability control etc.
